The Eastside Culture Crawl Society hosted an artshow Jan 9-25 and public conversation days Jan 11, 18 and 25/09 and a forum Jan 24 attended by City Councillor Heather Deal, artists, architects, developers, Brent Toderian (director of planning), Arts Alliance, etc. at Chapel Arts 304 Dunlevy in response to the sustainability of artists work spaces. The information, suggestions, facts that were exchanged at all events will create an invaluable base for the next step.  We have now made four recommendations to the City of Vancouver's Cultural Affairs Department and they have acknowledged that they will add it to their Phase 1 Implementation and 2009/2010 workplans.  To put the importance of this step into context, IMAGINE NO ART!
