INTERNSHIP
Eastside Culture Crawl Society
Seeking a bright and enthusiastic individual wishing to gain an insight into the various functions of the organization the produces one of Vancouver's most successful annual cultural events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will provide valuable administrative support to the Executive Director and will be comfortable carrying out routine tasks individually and as part of a team. An interest in art and a passion for cultural events would be a distinct advantage.
To help maintain events on the ECCS website as well as external sites, including social media
To assist in developing communications including an e-newsletter
Assist in facilitating and coordinating program logistics
PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
The Crawl – a three day open studio event with 350+ artists, designers and crafts people
Studio 101 – a one day schools outreach program
Intimate Studio Visit Program – a monthly studio visit
Friends and Patron Circle – a development initiative
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal
Good administrative and IT skills including Open Office,
Attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines

REMUNERATION
This is a voluntary position and is unpaid.
We ask for a minimum commitment of six months staring at 2 hours per week minimum, increasing periodically to 10+ hours per week during events.
