Wendy's images evoke an emotional sense of place using the drama of weather and the changing seasons. Wendy was born in Winnipeg and grew up in farming communities in Saskatchewan. She studied graphic design and has worked as an award winning designer throughout western Canada and the Yukon. After studying printmaking in Italy in 1990, Wendy's career changed direction. Now focusing solely on painting and printmaking, her work blends abstraction and landscape symbolism with the study of light and space. Wendy now lives and works in BC. Her art has been collected and shown both nationally and internationally.
