Nadine Stefan has been a practicing artist for the past 22 years. She studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary. In 1988, Stefan attended a self-directed residency at The Banff Centre, Banff Alberta and has participated in workshops and artist retreats in Alberta and BC. Stefan has actively exhibited her work in public and commercial galleries in British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec and has participated in touring shows in Germany and the Czech republic. Her work is represented in corporate, public and private collections nationally, in the USA and Europe.
Nadine has taught college level art classes in design, drawing and mixed media as well as recreational workshops for both adults and children. Her work history also includes working for commercial and civic galleries in various capacities as well as graphic design. Stefan’s work combines a variety of media including painting, drawing, wood construction and installation.
