I work in a number of media, such as altered books, mixed media collage, paper cutting, and photography. I primarily use recycled materials and found objects to conceive my work, combining colour, texture and striking compositions to create art pieces that express my love of nature and imagination. I am motivated by a desire to experiment with different techniques and materials, and to constantly push the boundaries of the work I create. My process in all media is through spontaneous exploration, with an emphasis on learning by doing, especially through iteration and experimentation. My work has been shown in Toronto, Vancouver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, and the UK, as well as published in numerous books and magazines.
