Bio: I received my Diploma in the Furniture Design Program from Sheridan College, Oakville Ontario in 1995. I have been actively designing and crafting furniture for private clientele.
In the process of design , the challenge is to promote individuality and personality, two desirable characteristics admired in a furniture piece. Creating these characteristics is a weighted choice of positive and negative space, finishes and substrates, contrasting colors and textures, the use of exotic and domestic hardwoods, metal, glass, plywood's , fabrics and other materials that are defined by their details. My designs, modern contemporary, take inspiration from Bauhaus, Danish Modern, Arts & Crafts and modern architecture.
