M.A.Tateishi is a painter whose process involves layers of painting on paper sealed with resin. She excavates her many layers of work, reveals what is underneath the surface of the painting, and explores ideas of time and memory. Her work has been exhibited for the last nine years in over 60 shows in Canada. Her paintings are in private collections across Canada and abroad, and have been featured in local newspapers, magazines, City TV, Fairchild TV and CBC radio.
