Bio:
My artwork is Narrative with Magical-Surrealism elements. The work ranges from paintings, oil on canvas, as large as 15′ X 8′, to paintings, oil on rusted tin, as small as 6″ x 6″, to drawings in pastel and charcoal (using old window frames to size and to frame them) to monoprints. I believe my insight, charm and humour bubbles up in most of my work. I am drawn to anything Quirky (it is also hard to resist a good pun). To create two-dimensional visual universes, which goes beyond the surrealist/subconscious /dream dimensions, is my goal. My travels around the world from Australia, Mexico, Europe, and Africa have enriched my visual language. I endeavor to cross cultural and surrealist boundaries by including the universal narratives found in world religions, legends, myths, archetypes and symbols, into my work.
