The unrelenting pursuit of remaining true to your own path no matter what, perhaps best encapsulates the philosophy of Kamila Gougain and Lacey Lee Yorston. After Kamila received a certificate in Costume Design she moved on to further educate herself self at the Art Institute there meeting Lacey both receiving there Diploma for Fashion Design & Merchandising & Foundation for Design. It all began in Vancouver, indulging their obsession with fashion during moments stolen from their ‘real’ jobs. So they made a fateful decision to launch their dream business KAM & LEE. Vancouver’s One Of a Kind Show, and other Vendor shows provided the first taste of what was to come, now participating in Fashion Weeks is a start to immerse themselves into the industry. We want to be able to create an individuality and freedom of expression, and the intuitive fusion of contradictory elements to form a beautiful whole.
