Bio: Janice Toulouse is a painter and a part of the Vancouver arts since the 70's. She exhibits her art internationally. Graduate of Emily Carr College of Art 1979, MFA Concordia University 1985, Montreal. Instructor at ECU and NIC. Her work is a fusion of two styles abstract and traditional Ojibwe art. "My paintings are my vision of colour, energy and thought evolving in the space of a canvas surface transcending boundaries of what is considered Indigenous art.”
