Jada-Gabrielle Pape is Coast Salish from the Saanich and Snuneymuxw Nations. Her favorite mediums to mix are acrylic and poetry. This year she will be showing a new series of big mammals and birds in her delightful little garden studio. In her real "life" Jada is a single mother, a writer, a painter, an advocate for pitbulls and sole proprietor of a home organization and decluttering business called "The Nitty Gritty - Helping You Simplify". In her studio this year, as well as selling original paintings, Jada-Gabrielle will have cards, buttons, tote bags and the celebrated $5 raffle so some lucky person can own a totally affordable, original painting.
