Bio: I spent much of my teenage years in Museums, Galleries and Theatres in Europe, and consider this the most important part of my art education. Later, I studied drawing and painting techniques in informal galleries in Paris and Montreal. I started knitting and sewing with my beloved grandma in Poland when I was 6. As a teenager I sponsored my travels by selling my wears each summer. I studied furniture design and graduated with a Master's Degree in Art Nouveau furniture from Brasov University in Romania. I designed and made hundreds of funky and clean line pieces of furniture, for individual clients, galleries and mass production. The entire last year I spent traveling and the most memorable thing was visiting artists studios in Senegal, Vietnam, Hong Kong and craft shops in Morocco and India. This year I will be working more in fabric than in wood, since my collection of fabrics has grown far too big. I love using discarded materials and remnants of things and the feeling of creating something new out of nothing.
While designing interiors I do not forget about importance of art, colour and whimsy.
