My GrandPere’s Hammer is a small Artisan jewellery shop that is inspired by a handmade hammer that was given to me (Michele) by my father. The story goes that the hammer was made by my GrandPere (Grandfather) during the second world war. My GrandPere, Thimoleon, was a blacksmith and my Father, Bertrand, was a machinist. Metal has played a major role in lineage of the Jacob family from St. Adelph, Quebec. The hammer now resides New Westminster, BC with Michele and continues its life as a creative tool to produce Copper and Silver jewellery.
