Grace Lee, artist and designer of eikcam began her indie-entreupenurial career in 1999 as a part time jeweller while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design at Emily Carr. After six years working as an art director, returning from a poignant trip to Paris in 2008, Grace made the commitment to pursue her true desire to create handmade wares in clay. With her background in jewellery, she created a full collection of ceramic based pieces that reflected her natural aesthetic and flair for unique design. Along side the jewellery, her tableware was inspired by traditional Korean gastronomy and exploring the texture of the clay in its natural state. Grace's more whimsical pieces showcase her love of illustration and use of bold hues in understated ways.
