melk is a collaboration of curious craft making between local Vancouver designers Chrystale Thompson, of Ecstatic Design & Communication and Jeremy Van Nieuwkerk, of Shrapnel Design. melk’s designs are inspired by nature and city landscape touching on the social and cultural efforts that shape us and their syntonic relationship. The illustrations are a light comical twist based on the struggle that we play in our natural and man-made environment. We try to practice a "use every part of the buffalo" philosophy using leftover production materials, transforming them into objects of desire.
