Kate established New Leaf Interior Design with a vision to create beautiful, eco-conscious spaces. Kate is an experienced interior designer, furniture designer and conceptual artist who specializes in a variety of design applications. Born in New York and raised in California, she now resides in Vancouver. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts as well as an Interior Design Diploma from the Art Institute of Vancouver. While studying design and psychology she discovered that “designers consider how a space is utilized and adapt principles such as harmony and balance.” Kate creates amazing interiors by focusing on your needs and then developing a solid plan. With a passion for timeless designs from architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, Kate believes sustainable is more than green. “It’s about building spaces that are remarkable and function well now and many years to come.
