Biljana received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Sarajevo and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. In addition to teaching visual art, she has been practicing art in her studio. Biljana have been living in different countries in Europe and producing her art and commissioned work while living in Spain, Germany, Finland and Croatia and for the last decade in Canada. Biljana specialized in people and animal portraits produced in different media. Currently, she is exploring her connection with a theme of the Mediterranean landscapes, colour and light.
